spaghetti carbonara- Cafe Sopra, Fratelli Fresh Potts Point
you could hardly call yourself a sydney-sider if you have not spent three hours waiting for a table at any of the fratelli locations. this was one of those occasions. luckily, the food was delicious as usual, and this particular dish would have to be the best traditional (read: cream-free) carbonara i’ve had at a restaurant. damn you fratelli, luring me back in to your long line once again. sigh. does anyone have a good book?
